We have been to Turkey last week in October and was still hot. However, as it is last week of Season things are already closing down. We went to Nerja in Spain last week in October last year and it was lovely and warm

If you're looking at Turkey then you will need to consider the Antalya area to get better weather at that time of year. It'd a beautiful area and there's a good few resorts to choose from. There's loads of All Inclusive hotels and you may get a decent deal, however £500 each is maybe pushing it for a decent All Inclusive in that area, during half term. You will be looking at 3 adults and 1 child and that's only if your other child is under 12. If they are older then you will all be classed as adults. (Do bear in mind you will need to provide passport details and probably show all your passports on arrival so no way of getting round this really)

Other areas that will have the weather are the Canaries, although you might find that £2000 doesn't stretch to all inclusive during half term again. Alternatively try southern spain either Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol, Tunisia, Cyprus or Morocco.

Majorca, Menorca and Ibiza, the Algarve and northern Spain will probably be the cheapest areas but the weather may be hit and miss. Same goes for Greece, the weather will likely be better but it's the end of season and you will find alot of places have closed for the winter by then.
