  • It will certainly be very pleasant if you are heading to the south. Not so much so in the north. Depends what you mean by hot though?

was thinking lara beach need to sun bathe for daughter xx
  • Lara Beach is in the Antalya region so will be warmer than the other coastal areas but it wont be hot hot. It should be warm enough for sunbathing but the evenings can get quite chilly. The sea will be warm but unless there is a heated pool the water will be very cold

I was in Bodrum last year at the beginning of October and it there were some torrential rain storms but in two weeks there were just two days when I wouldn't have sunbathed.

Going again next week so should be a lot hotter.

Lara Beach is a good choice, as the airport transfer doesn't take long.

Make sure you have a day or two in Anyalya town. Thake the inexpensive dolmus (mini-bus). The old walled town of Kaleici is great to wander round, virtually free of traffic and pleasant places to eat and drink.

There's an old tram than runs along the seafront too. Take it to the terminus (to the right as you face the sea), your children will enjoy all the colourful paragliding that goes on off the cliff-top.
