Online Estate Agents - Fantastic!

Hi All,
I don't normally post on MSE but we recently took the plunge and marketed our property with https://www.sellahouseonline.co.uk and they have been truly fantastic. The service was much better than I would of expected from an online estate agent. All promises were met, I was in daily contact with the agent via email and phone calls.
Total costs were only £370.00 compared to the £2200.00 the local estate agents were quoting.
The only difference being was that we had to show the potential buyer around our property ourselves. We received 11 offers within the first 4 days so we must of done a half decent job!
For the work they have done I actually feel bad that we have only paid these guys £370.00.
So in a nutshell if your thinking of selling your home and you are a fairly confident at chatting to potential buyers then save yourself some cash and go with an online estate agent.
I am no way associated with the above estate agent, I'm just making a recommendation to all you money saving people
If you have any questions i'd be happy to answer them :T
Have a good day!

You never said you got the house sold or had any offers or have you completed?
Have you sold and moved out?
We have ours marketed by an online agent too. This is day 7, had 4 viewings and someone coming back for a second viewing next week too. So far so good, but it is all about getting it sold and moving out when time will tell.0 -
I'm definitely using an online agent next time but only cos I have a house that will have a wide appeal and is in a very desirable area (and has had lots done to it). Prepared to take that risk. If I was selling in a slow/difficult market or in an area that wasn't popular, I'd probably use a regular EA.

If you had "11 offers in the first four days" then you are clearly living in a market where anyone could sell their house by standing outside holding up a "For sale" sign to passing traffic and pedestrians (which would be free). Not really a fair test.
It may also imply your house is underpriced. Let us know when you have completed.0
