TSB Accounts

Hi, I have just opened 4 TSB accounts 2 in my name and 2 in my wifes name. I have tried to open 2 joint accounts online to max the interest out, but I can't seem to be able to open a joint account online. Do I have to go into a branch to open the 2 joint accounts or
can I do it online? Thanks in advance for any help

Either in branch, or open the accounts online and then get them made into joint in branch, so essentially, go to branch!

I don't know, if you already have two accounts, if they'd let you open a further two online that can be made into joint, because then you'd have four single accounts, albeit temporarily.

Thanks Herbalus, I have tried to open another account but it seems I can only do it in one name. I tried this, hoping to convert it to a joint account, but reply came back that I couldn't open another account, I knew I could only have 2 accounts in my name, but thought I would be able open joint account online.

You can do it over the phone.

We have 4 ( 2 each ) done on line , had to go to nearest branch in Buxton 2 weeks ago to open a joint one .
Took about 20 mins in branch .

Sole accounts opened online and joint accounts opened by phone.
