I have a CCJ that will be six years old in November 2016, is it worth me satisfying the judgement or will it not make any difference to prospective lenders?

I would think it would depend on the amount its for and what credit you are looking for.

I imagine settled always looks better.

They can enforce it before then.

Have you been paying anything on it? do the company who own the debt write to you about it?

It really depends on the circumstances.

If you can settle it, you may as well, it's going to have to be settled one way or another.

But if you expect it to make much difference in a credit application then no, it won't. You'd be far better waiting for it to drop off before applying for credit.
