New Combi Boiler

Hi

I would really appreciate some help as I am looking to have a new Combi Boiler fitted as my old boiler has packed up.

Can anyone please recommend some good makes and models as I am not sure what to go for.

I have seen the Potterton Titanium 28HE but am not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have also seen the Ideal Logic+ boilers as they offer a 7 year warranty. Does anyone have any expereince with these boilers?

I have a logic+

It performs well for heating and hot water and doesn't seem to use much gas. We have used a steady 4 cubic metres a week (~45kW which is about £3.80 for us) since we got it. That is for 2 adults and 1 5 year old having showers/baths, washing up, cooking etc. Heating was on for 1 month.

But I have only had it since April so it is hard to comment on reliability. My guess is that Ideal have faith in it though if they are offering 7 year guarantees.

Potterton, Main, and Baxi are rebadged versions of the same boilers.

Worcester Bosch ( which I have) and Vaillant are well regarded, and are UK manufactured.
