DWP get worse

we send of a form for a Budgeting loan and got letter back saying we cant have one due to us not getting income support for over 26 weeks.

but we have been getting it for about 2 years and had a loan about 6 months ago.

so do they do this in the hope people wont ask for them to review it?

we have now sent letter to them asking them to review it.

    Maybe they made a mistake?

If you are needing assistance so often perhaps it would be worth a visit to the Debtfree Wannabe board to get some help with budgeting.
  • Have you been continuously in receipt of IS for at least 26 weeks ?

  • Bill is certainly opinionated about a lot of stuff, I think that assumptions should not be made, but maybe he just wants you to take the bait, and start an argument, happens a lot here, don't worry about it

At least some of what Bill said has come from OPs past posts.

Didn't check back far enough to see how much was accurate.
  • I am a 62 yr old male, worked from age of 15, spent 14 yrs in armed forces, and worked since leaving forces, never out of work, paid all tax and NI, had to give up work when reached 60 to look after my wife who sadly passed away last xmas, I am in receipt of a bereavement allowance and forces pension, so taking them 2 into account I receive less then £2.50 in pension credit, So afterall all the above if I was to ask for a budgeting loan how in heck would they take money back off me lol...............
