Study abroad insurance- Endsleigh

Options
Hello,

I'm going to starting my masters degree in Stockholm next week and haven't got any insurance yet.
I'm thinking of getting Endsleigh study abroad insurance as it seems to be the best fit and allows for trips home in the holidays.

Has anybody got any experience of them or can recommend something else?

Thanks

I think most people would say that Endsleigh are the default choice for student policies simply because that's how they started and they have vast experience in the market. That's not to say that there might not be a better policy for your purposes elsewhere, but it may take more time than you have to track it down.

What kind of cover do you need?

Personally, I would begin by contacting the university's office for international students and asking about what is available locally.
  • I would agree with Voyager - check what is required and available locally. I think Sweden is one of those countries where having full civil liability insurance is important, is that covered by the Endsleigh policy?
  • Thanks for the replies. The university have advised that medical care Is free with a EHIC card, bar a small charge for visiting a doctor.
Mum is concerned about luggage and medical repatriation costs being covered and wants me to take out the policy for that
  • And yes, Endsleigh policy covers personal liability
