Sorry? It costs "hundreds of pounds" to move out of a rental? How does this work?
But never fear you bought into the biggest property Ponzi in history instead! Well done, have yourself a coconut.0 -

Sadly, you are one of life's unlucky losers, you will forever be trapped in rental accommodation. Forced to pay agent fees each time moving further out of Edinburgh and into ever worsening HMO's, you have every reason to be upset, but you should really be blaming yourself for making poor life choices. Home-owners are not to blame for your poor finances.

You have to pay agent fees, referencing/credit checks etc - and provide a deposit up front (weeks before you know how much of your last one you'll get back, or if there'll be a problem), then the check in fee. Then, there's bound to be an overlap between properties - and the cost of the removals. Then there's a check-out fee from the last place, while you wonder if they'll try a cheeky deduction. And VAT on a lot of that!
Well - Ponzi or not, it's a fact that we all have to live somewhere.0 -
