Hi Guys

I ask for increase limit of my Barclaycard and it has been approved. I am waiting now the writing confirmation to be sent to my address. My old limit is £3000 with zero percent for purchase until February 2015. My new limit is now £6000.

With this increase, is there any chance that my zero percent for purchase will be canceled.

I know I could ask it directly to Barclay when I requested for increase but I do not want to do that before I get a writing conformation for obvious reason, do not want him to see that I am currently on zero percent for purchase.

My question is:
1. Based on your personal experience or knowledge. With this increase will it effect my zero percent for purchase ??

2. Based on your personal experience or knowledge, with this increase does it also mean my zero percent for purchase will be based on new credit limit or the old credit limit ?

Thanks

You will have to ask them. However, I am confident that the agent who approved your request for an increased credit limit could see that you were currently benefiting from an interest-free offer.

I hope that you have firm plans for repaying the full amount in February.

No your existing 0% offer is not affected by your credit limit increase. The 2 are not connected. The only way for you to lose the offer is to break the terms and conditions eg go over your limit or make a late/non payment
