Ryanair check-in/bag drop anyone?

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone has flown Ryanair recently and can help. We're due to fly with them from Manchester later today and would like to ideally check in early and eat at the airport. Does anyone know if the desks tend to just be open for all flights or will we have to wait till two hours before to drop our bags etc (we've checked in online and have our boarding cards already).
