Hi All,

Due to issues with my browser I haven't been able to access FB for the past two weeks. Last week I got several emails that I had one friend request, one message and seven notifications outstanding. This week I've got several messages advising that I have five notifications outstanding. Does this mean that the message, friend request and two notifications have been removed or does each email only relate to that particular week?

I'm more interested than anything else and I'm sure I'll find out soon enough once my browser has been corrected.

    No idea, but I'd guess it relates to whatever new has happened since the last notification.

    (I have email alerts turned off).

    Why don't you download an alternative browser and use that until your old one's problem is gone?

    I'm just being a nerd, wish I could get onto my account to check for sure.

    I know thus far this week I've had six emails advising I have 5 notifications pending.

    Tried that too but to no avail. Currently IE and Firefox are both giving the same problem.

    Sounds like DNS problems, could you try changing them?

    The notifications won't be removed. You will see them all when you eventually log in.
