Please help me with an unfair parking charge

I know there are loads of post on this but I would really appreciate someone telling me my next move on this. On holiday in cornwall went to polzeath beach in the am - bought a ticket - clearly says polzeath with expiry time of 12.21. Then went to port issac for lunch and parked in the Port Issac main car park (says St endellion on ticket) and bought a ticket and also put this on my dash good till 15.44. AS Parking have issued me a ticket. On return to my vehicle I took a photo of my car and dash clearly showing both tickets and appealed the charge - sending them the photo and the ticket. They respond today upholding their charge based on sending me a photo of the expired ticket. The expired ticket photo is of polzeath car park and shows this in the photo and not the port issac car park where I received the charge and clearly states on the ticket - 'ticket expired Port issac' where in fact it is ticket expired polzeath and conveniently does not show the valid ticket which was also displayed saying port issac valid till15.44. So technically their evidence shows an expired ticket but not for that car park. AS parking are a member of BPA but have not sent me any further form of appeal but have offered to put the £60.00 charge on hold for 14 days while I pay - after that it is £100.00!! I really don't know what next and am reaching out to other MSE users to help me out with a step by step next plan. Thanks in advance for any help. Best wishes Sam.

Is there such a thing as a fair parking charge?

Sorry but all I see is a wall of text. I'm not going to read it, I'm simply going to advise you to read the NEWBIES sticky thread (assuming this was a PARKING charge notice you received and not a PENALTY charge notice).

try spacing it out so its easier to read , learn to use the RETURN / NEW LINE key

send a letter or email back saying CANCEL OR POPLA CODE , NOTHING MORE TO ADD

then send a complaint to AOS compliance at the BPA complaining about the breach of their jan 2014 newsletter and a breach of their CoP by using stalling tactics

As advised, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES at the top of the page which, funnily enough, has a step by step guide.

Do not pay, do not ignore, do not reveal who was driving unless this was a lease/hire car.

And when you follow the advice in the part for No Gpeol you will include the point that there was no loss and include your photos and copy of ticket as evidence.

    Dear Kev,

Your company issued a notice to my vehicle clearly stating "ticket expired Port Isaac", and as "evidence" you have sent me a photo of an expired ticket for a completely different car park (Polzeath, to be exact).

Now I can be generous and put this down to simple error, if you would be good enough to cancel your spurious charge. Alternatively I can take the matter to Trading Standards. Which is it to be?

Of course, Trading Standards can be slow to act so I am also reporting you to BPA Ltd. and DVLA for failing to provide a PoPLA code, and I strongly recommend that you do so NOW.

Obviously don't write the intro and give away who was driving...I'm sure you'll have gleaned that from the Newbies thread now though. :)

Also you need a strong POPLA appeal for AS Parking - read this thread:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5008301

A well-worded POPLA appeal a bit like a 'PPS' example (see the newbies thread 'How to win at POPLA') should do the trick but double check here at the time before POPLA. And you can add the bit about the wrong car park too of course, being very careful as keeper, not to say anything about the driver.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
