payment times is it still 28 days

sorry i know its prob be asked many times but does any one know if the banks are sticking to there we are committed to making payments within 28 days frame, read payments could take months but that was back at the start of missold ppi uptill 2011/2012, its been 15 days since they sent letter , i didnt need to do anything unless i wanted to dispute amount, so basically just wondering if ill get payment within 28days its with bos and assuming cheque since i dont bank with them.

Things are a lot better now than they were then. If they've given 28 days then it should be within that time frame unless there's a spanner in the works like you've been declared bankrupt. And yes it would normally be by cheque.
