Reclaiming fares at the JCP with Oyster card

I had to sign on today and the advisor was at a meeting so I see someone else who was not the slightest bit interested in anything I said. The only bit of decent info she gave me was that I could claim my fare back if I could get my fare history however the first shop said I need to go to an underground station and a bus driver couldnt help me either. I have to go back again to see my advisor who I should have seen today so I will have to walk it this time.
Can anyone here advise me please.

Unless it's changed you don't get paid fares for signing on.
You get fares paid for "out of cycle interviews", i.e. interviews they call you in for which aren't on your normal signing day. They'll normally ask for some proof of how much your journey cost, tickets etc. How that works with an oyster card I don't know.
But no, I don't think you get paid fares just for attending the Job Centre to sign on.0 -
Thanks GM. I will ask the advisor tomorrow and she what she says, but I am going to transfer to Brentwood office and they are much more helpful than Romford, however Romford are much more busier.0

You should be able to get a print out of your oyster card history with the machines at the underground station. Or if your oyster card is registered online, you can get it that way.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I have my oyster card registered online and get a pdf sent to me once a week that shows all the journeys and fares for the previous week0
