last minute escape for some sun

Spur of the moment, going to take the kids away for a week on Saturday, looking for somewhere with a bit of sun and ideally some water parks etc for the monkeys.

Any suggestions or recommendations? Looking to spend around £2000 on flights and accommodation for two adults and two kids.

I'm so open to ideas and its so last minute, I don't even know where to start looking!

try holidayhypermarket to start you off - and if you are at all flexible with your date of departure, you could easily do it for less than your £2000 budget (ie Sunday instead of Saturday knocks the price down to less than £350 each to Turkey for example).

Once you've found something suitable on holidayhypermarket, have a look on the tour companies own website, see if its cheaper, and also have a look at the flights on skyscanner, and adding a hotel/apartment from travelrepublic etc.

That is excellent advice, thank you.

It looked so easy, in practice I'm surprisingly struggling to find anything. Focusing my search on Majorca and Algarve as seems to be cheap and near fun things for the kids.
