Bristol Street Motors feedback please!

Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 100bhp and there are a few of them for sale with Bristol Street Motors.

I know they are a nationwide chain and therefore the service provided might vary from area to area but I just wondered if anyone has had any dealings with them, both positive or negative...

Thanks in advance

Stacey

We bought our car from there and my dad has had two and various neighbours as well all with no problems.

I also have their service plan for £10 a month which also gives 20% off tyres and parts, collects and returns car with a full valet and so far have been happy with the service received.

Like you said, national chain, so maybe we are just lucky to get a good one :j

Sister bought a Focus that kept breaking down when used on the motorway.

Temperature would rise and it would cut out, They said seized thermostat. It happened again... They replaced something else then it happened again.

I went down after they repaired it and asked the mechanic to come to the car i asked how long it had been parked.
He said several hours so was almost cold.

I opened the expansion cap and it hissed. I said do you think thats normal for a cold engine?
I asked him if he had compression tested it because i think it needs a new head gasket.

Check around for local info. about your nearest BSM outlet, but ignore any online review centre. They are so laughably easy to sway, they must have been invented by talktalk.

Very pushy salesmen in mine. Real hard sell. I don't like being treated in that manner, so I walked out.

Sounds like you visited the one we went to. I remember being asked by the sales guy "what is there to think about" when we suggested we didn't want to make a decision on the spot about spending 10k!

They pushed, pushed and pushed some more to get us to leave a £500 "instantly refundable" deposit while we went away for a coffee to think about it.

I wouldn't recommend anyone buys a car from there.

Have a look at the report regarding the Fiesta Ecoboost in

Looks like 50000miles before you 'save' anything, assuming you were buying new, compared to alternative Fiestas.

They have a reasonable selection near me but when I am looking to replace my car I won't even go there for a browse.

As soon as you walk through the door you pick up a limpet, try to ignore him as he follows you at one marching pace behind interfering and banging on about how much "this one is fantastic"...for each and every car you walk past.

If you enjoy having double glazing salesmmen in your house, you may enjoy your experience but otherwise, they will make you cringe and run for the exit.

They remind me of Carcraft... not there to sell cars at all but solely to strangle every penny out of you which you can possibly muster.

Which Fiestas have better mpg and bhp than a 1.0 litre ecoboost AND have zero tax?
