    Good luck with potty training - if she has decided to do this herself, then you may find there will be no accidents.

    With DD we tried potty training "by timetable" eg when the books said we should and it was not successful! With DS he said one day that he wanted to use big boys pants instead, and we never had a problem at all!

    Fingers crossed for you and Ash today (and your friend too!).

    Haven't posted for what seems like ages (last week, I think, with the visit from you-know-who)............ glad to hear you're well, and... potty training! Even with oopses, you're bound to get them. What email address did you use for tesco? I have *such* a job doing it, and I hate using the phone to complain about small things, because the cost is so near the actual value of the goods. Small minded, moi?

    Oooh potty training, that takes me back. Like Hypno's son, my DD3 and DS4 decided when to potty train themselves (DD very early, DS very late) and there really were very few accidents. DDs1&2 who had potty training imposed on them took AGES. Best of luck to Ashli! Fingers crossed she will be a little superstar and think of the nappy money you will save!

    oh and in other not-so-good news it looks like our pc monitor is on it's way out! One of those old CRT ones and it keeps buzzing and the screen shuddering! :eek:

    Try reaching around the back and pushing the power cable in harder.

    Try pushing it in then - you'll be able to see whether it makes a difference.
