BA**ARDS! Applied for a HSBC bank account a while ago through quidco and it turns out theres a £12.95 subscription for it! G*ts! Had all the bumpf through this morning!!!! Gits.... Have sent an email to complain and asking for the account to be cancelled.. (there's a 14 day cancellation period..)Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

That's a real downer on the HSBC account... what was the quidco worth on it! and did you really need the account! oh well best of luck canceling it.

£50 from quidco qhich has already paid out. going to nip into the branch and cancel it I think... the 'welcome to hsbc' letter is dated the 10th so I don't see a problem as it's still less than 14 days..Morning IA,

Ohh glad they paid out... quick get down there and cancel it!! It's about time the banks gave something away rather than take!!!

Well I applied on the 16th nov... they paid out a few days ago, I had the stuff asking for signatures etc and today I got the pack through saying welcome to hsbc.. had the card a few days ago..

I think that account has a notice period before you can downgrade it to a standard free account. It wouldn't pay out £50 cashback if you could just cancel itNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Right I just called HSBC and they said basically I am still in the 14 days and that if I go into branch they can cancel it. So off to town I got when K wakes up! Gaaaaaaaaaaah so stressed...Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
