Oh dear.. I need to rejig the budgets... :undecided Apparently they've put the price of food up at the canteen at Ste's work.. and his £10 a week now isn't lasting the whole week. Add that to the fact that because of my being at argos and us having band practice on sundays we're having to put £15 of petrol in every week... not to mention that our tax credits will be going down again next month when K turns 1... *scratches head*
!!!!!! I've thrown away our newest tax credits notice by mistake and kept an old one...I'm sure, however, that when K turns one the tax credits drop by about £15 a week... Not good...
So at the moment..
£93.57 a week tc..
£50 food
£15 petrol
£10 band practice
£15 Steve..
= £3.57 spare
and then come january
£78.57 a week tc ..
£50 food
£15 petrol
£10 band practice
£15 steve...
= £11.43 short.....
...sh*t.
uuummm....... *scratches head and looks worried*Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

So you transfer £11.43 more from the bills account.
Not a big deal, you only have a car loan left with interest on and you'll still have the tv paid off in no time.
It's time to start thinking about spending a little bit of money on stuff you enjoy now, (instead of spending it all on stuff you enjoyed on the past and the interest it has accrued since you enjoyed it)0 -
Why don't you ring the tax credits and ask them what your payments will drop to? Then you will have a solid figure to work on rather than a guess of £15.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Right, got the actual payments we're going to be getting..
so at the moment we're getting £85.33 ctc/£8.24 wtc = £93.57
from 30th Jan - 2nd April we'll get £73.44 ctc/£8.01 wtc = £81.45
from 3rd April provisional payments are £81 ctc/£11.06 wtc = £92.06
hmmmm.... so not AS bad... but still awkward when we're living week to week as it is..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Why not use Ste's wages for the bills, use child benefit & tax credits for "other outgoings", then transfer what's left over each time you get child benefit over into your savings account? And you can add the extra from Ste's wages to that too...?0
