My OH has been teaching himself thru videos posted on YouTube- some guitar teacher has filmed lessons and you can follow them- they're great. Personally I advocate the Guitar Hero III method... I'm now on medium and am addicted to it! Have convinced myself that it's just as cool as playing a real guitar and probably just as difficult (runs and hides from all the real musicians!!) Just wish my left hand didn't look so much like a claw after several hours of rocking...

hi ia, hope you dont mind me asking but what hotel did you stay in at blackpool at the meet? I am going there with my friend next sept and trying to find somewhere to stay thanks, i have searched for the thread but no such luck

PAP, look for any with low numbers on Albert Road - it's just round the corner from the Tower, and a spit from the sea (well when it isn't windy )

It was the braeside guest house or something like that. Lovely little place and the people who run it are lovely. We paid £45 b&b for both of us for a night so not bad at all really, would definately recommend it.

crap crap CRAP. Just checked the internet banking and egg took the minimum payment EVEN THOUGH I paid a bit off as 'one off payments' well before the direct debit date!!! That now means we're £21 short in the bills account :wall: I get my wages tomorrow and we haven't had Ste's o2 bill yet.. so it could be more or could be less... he's hardly used his phone this month so who knows... fingers crossed anyway. But I'm not doing this sunday either just 10.30-5.30 so no extra-extra money next week but we;re going to have to use my wages this week to get us bank on track. :doh:

Why is it whenever I pay a lump of anything and we have nothing in the bank there's always something that comes a long to make it awkward! :mad:

please dont put pressure on yourself, it will all be paid off before you know it. And worrying will only make you ill in the long run (i know easier said than done)
