  • Cheers. Mine should go in early next week then.

I also have £7.85 coming from Quidco - we must have the same companies paying out ;)

  • I know I'm going against the norm.. I just want it all paid off and cleared!

I feel exactly the same.... I don't care that mine is on a 0% card, I just want it gone ASAP.... I dont know about you.... but I am so tired and fed up of the old juggling act now.

couldn't agree more. it's our last credit card except for Ste's vanquis which is being cleared on tuesday anyway and is already included in the bills.... and I just want to know that we have 1 credit card between the 2 of us (but 2 cards) that's clear and a proper emergency card rather than a 'we're short so we'll stick it on the card' kind of thing. Fed up of having £100's worth of debt hanging over our head even if it is 0%.

  • Our dilema is that we have quite a few cards a nil balance but which one or ones do we keep... there are pros to keeping them all for different reasons.

Nationwide CC - free for use abroad
Tesco CC - do by now pay later options on the credit card - so can have 6 months 0% - did that last year for our dishwasher
    Egg - Egg Money Manager.
Amazon - get points when you spend - and get a £15 voucher to spend on amazon.

all except the amazon card is at nil and has been for a while :T , but I have to say I am reluctlant to get rid of any of them.

The only one I didn't give 2 hoots about was Capital One, and that one was cancelled and cut up.

hmmmm... that's a tough one! Do you get clubcard points with the tesco one? Egg money manager is great plus they do goo 0% offers for balance transfer etc so I think it'd be worth hanging onto that one.... as for amazon... how often do you shop on it and would the points be better than tescos?
