I saw that on your other thread but didn't want to post anything and derail some more.
I don't post too often but I read al ot (doesn't that sound sinister). In my opinion you have worked very hard to get your debt to a more manageable level despite several set backs both large and small. People like yourself, Snaggles and Hypno (plus loads of others
)give this board heart and support.
It's a sad fact that if you give generously of yourself then others can take what you share and twist it in generalised hurtful ways but as I've said before - this really says more about their life experiences, not yours. There is no need to justify yourself to people like this.
I'm glad you're not put off posting - I'm supposed to be cleaning the loo now and if there were fewer posts on MSE I might be forceed into action:rotfl:

I have to admit that I can actually get my foot behind my head.... Although not right now as I'm at work and I've hurt my back!
Sounds a bit like me. I used to be able to - then I had a car accident and hurt my back. Now my feet go no further back than my ear.

trolls should stay under their bridges and eat goat, leave the rest of us alone.
PS: You've never asked for anything, it's always been offered, thats friendship not scrounging.
I dont understand what goats have ever done to deserve to be eaten by trolls?
Poor goats! Let the trolls eat cake
Sorry to see that you had a close encounter of the muppet kind IA. I cant get over the fact that trolls take the trouble to read 169ish pages of someones diary, create a new user id just to stir things. Some people have too much time on their hands but not enough sense, compassion, decency or manners and the really sad thing is, I bet he/she is reading this nowDebt Free - done

OMG!!! Sorry!!! All sorted now - I've edited my post! :rotfl:
(ps I've never kicked the crap out of anyone in my life, I'd be more likely to run away crying if I ever got into a fight...)

IA - I've never posted before because I'm old enough to be your mum - in fact my daughter is 24 and son 21,
I just wanted to say really well done on everything you've achieved, ignore the troll it's amazing how brave some people are when they're anonymous.
I remember how hard it was with little ones and not enough money and I wish I'd been as sorted as you are - it's taken us years to climb out of a mountain of debt. I've really drummed into my two about the dangers of easy credit and they seem to have taken it in - I'm sure A & K will be very money savvy with your example.

PS I know how you feel about wanting Ste and the children to have things - somehow I used to feel much happier spending on them than on myself.0 -

Hey there IA
Well, like somebody said, the effect of a troll is to bring out the supporters in force - so here's the next one, reporting for guard duty! I absolutely love the pic you've done of the "scrounger" thing - great to use humour and creativity to stop someone else in their crazy attack, well done you. All I'd say is please, please, remember what trolls are, remember how mad their skewed "logic" is, not a chance that they're worth replying to seriously.
You take care - and when "Usurper" gets home (waves at Ste) you can relax together.
PS - two things I really love on these comments: "close encounters of the muppet kind", lol, and your eyes! On that "scrounger" pic you did - they are so big, wow! Lovely - can't really tell day to day.
Lots of virtual hugs and raising of glasses in salute to you and Ste and your little girls.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Nope. Nor will I ever find out.
Glad you're not taking it to heart. As I always said: Criticised by idiots - bad thing, or a good thing?
You certainly do seem to be able to attract the trolls mind...steal a bridge in your youth or something..?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
