:rotfl: :rotfl: at the pen and paper...... and ........... paradiddles?

Metronome I understood, click I didn't. Cans, I did! Ye gods, I'm really showing my age now. All this sounds good tho. Good role modelling for the girls too - mum and dad being creative and enjoying themselves, yay. Have a good day.
I always thought a parariddle was some form of black hole in space... :rotfl:
Don't feel bad though... I'm 22 and I have no clue what she's on about either.. :rotfl:

Just to hijack your thread for a second but if I dont go AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH I may have to kill someone at work ~ do you think I have a lower patience threshold knowing I only have two more weeks at this hole?

 paraddidle is a rudiment, basically the sticking is

    R L R R L R L L

    There are variations

    Single Paradiddle16_single_paradiddle.gifDouble Paradiddle17_double_paradiddle.gifTriple Paradiddle18_triple_paradiddle.gifParadiddle-Diddle19_paradiddle_diddle.gif
There are three variations on the single paradiddle. They can be written as follows, where R represents the right hand and L represents the left hand; the bold letters indicate where the accent typically falls (after the diddle).
    • Reverse Single Paradiddle - RRLR|LLRL
    • Inward Single Paradiddle - RLLR|LRRL
    • Outward Single Paradiddle - RLRL|LRLR
    Other variations on paradiddle rudiments:
    • Paradiddle-diddle-diddle (RLRR LLRR LRLL RRLL)
    • double inverted paradiddle (RLRRLR LRLLRL)
    • double permutated paradiddle (RLRLLR LRLRRL)
    • triple inverted paradiddle (RLRLRRLR LRLRLLRL)
    • triple permutated paradiddle (RLRLRLLR LRLRLRRL)
And so ends your lesson for today :D

With Quidco, don't you have to set your options up to tell it WHEN to pay out (ie, once you get over £50 received for example)? I'm not sure, but I will have a look.
