Are you sure it's not a parallel process you can take advantage of.
You have to have the approval to childmind - that element is postponed for a few months we know, however if you also have to do this course does it have to be done *after* the approval, if it can be done now it might even help because you'll have tutor references.0 -

Oh so that's who it was :rotfl: just kidding, yes I did thanks for thinking of us.
We had a lovely day, the sun shone all day and it was perfect. Of couse I ended up working half of the day organising the event but there you go. The band rocked, we had 10 complaints about the noise within the first tune oops. I played a bit, so did fran. And I was as drunk as a skunk.
I don't have any photos yet. My photographer is setting up a website for us. I'll post the link when it's done. She must have taken 1000 photos, it just went on and on. Now I know how people feel with the damned paparazi following them around:D but I can't wait to see them.
So, it looks like we all had a fab weekend. I was thinking about you all and wish I'd been able to take your call but the band was playing around then so I stood no chance of hearing you.:A

immoral_angeluk wrote: »True... but the fact is now I feel like I can't be arsed. I went through all the stress of applying and sorting stuff out only to be told to essentially bog off until I was off the pills.. and then when I told them I was off the pills they basically said tough! I know it's going to be a total waste but my brain is kind of thinking 'well screw it what's the point, you're always going to have a label above your head and OFSTED will constantly be watching your every move ready to stop you in your tracks again...'
Not really rational, don't play the victim and get emotional, you know that they have to cover their backs and it's because everyone is so scared of being blamed down the line for blame-n-claim culture. A few months gap so everything seen to be double checked and it'll be rubber stamped. There's a difference between can't being arsed, a decent excuse for something you aren't sure you want to do and the other alternative if you don't try you can't fail. I hardly think 3 months of very low level anti-depressents for suspected PND is going to label you for life.
I'm not convinced you are convinced that you want to be a childminder though - it's convenient and handy and you like being a *mother*, I'm not sure if the musings about going back to work are about the extra money either.... I'm wondering if your looking for the stimulation of working becuase you like working rather than have to (which the weird tax credits system makes not really worth doing for the money), if that's the case choose and think really hard about what you want to do and would enjoy. You're at an age you can choose jobs, the options dry up later and people get stuck once dependent on the money and convenience/location of a job they don't really like at all.0
