How about making one yourself? Or asking a family member I am sure they would not mind helping out? I agree you need to celebrate your first wedding anniversary - we completely forgot our 2nd one.

I can't make cakes for toffee.. plus the reason we wanted an m&s one is we had the same one for our actual wedding but never got to cut the cake so want to do it for our anniversary...

The caterers took it away before you got to actually cut it??? That's awful!

Hmm, how about asking family/friends to buy you the cake as a pressie? Or not buying other food for the party beyond a few nibbles?

I always wondered how people done that on ebay. :o

I hope you get your first wedding anniversary party sorted. It is our 9th wedding anniversary in 6 weeks time, 4th September, and I haven't a clue what to do for it.

IA, I've got a £5 M&S voucher you can have towards the cake (tried to send you a pm but the computer crashes every time I do). That will reduce the cost at least.
