    Ooh IA Dont be distraught!!!!!!!
In a moment of madness I made inquiries about a loan.
Because it was under £5000 the APR was 15.9%.
Yet the APR for over £5000 is 6.9%!!!
So I said wow, dont even tell me anymore!

Sar, have you actually closed down the accounts you have paid off so far? Sometimes that can make a difference. Have you done a free trial with credit expert (through quidco or pigsback) - that will show you what accounts you have still up and running. Sometimes the 'available credit' you have can make almost as much difference as the actual balances you have outstanding, so it's worth writing letters to fully close down any accounts you have finished with.
I tried but no matter what I did I could never get it to go through.... no idea why... Ste couldn't get it to work either. Ah well. We requested in writing that all the accounts be closed after paying them off but have only had confirmation of a few so god knows. :rotfl:

  • Ash is so funny. I turned around and she had taken off her trousers. She then took off her nappy and went and sat on her potty after I said 'do you want potty'
She didn't do anything but she's getting it slowly. Clever girl. So we're back in pants again now!

    So potty count today...

If she's happy to try going on the potty or toilet, that's half the battle - she'll be there before you know it. And at least it's summer, so you can wash and dry her clothes easily.

    Well done Ashli! :T :T

...where you wash stuff and put it out on the line to dry only for it to bucket down and get soaked so it'd actually be quicker whacking the heating on so you can dry it on the radiator?:rotfl:

That reminds me - hubby has just put a new washing line up this morning (a retractable one from Lidl....woooo, fancy! :D) so I can put some things out to dry. And yes, no doubt later on this evening they will be on the radiator because they've got wet again in the rain!

I know it's grubby, but I never re-wash them if they get rained on!
