Alliance and leics PPI Reclaim

Hi , has anyone had experience of reclaiming ppi for alliance and leics loans, Now Santander, I have heard they are saying as they didn't sell the loan they wont entertain the claim, hope this is not true as about to claim, they loan defaulted and went to DMP but they still charged ppi after repeatedly being asked to cancel, have all paperwork, I do not expect a personal refund but the repayment woud pay off the debt, appreciate any feedback

If you haven't already done so I would claim as you have paperwork. I have been trying to reclaim PPI on an Alliance and Leicester credit card but as I have no paperwork they have rejected it. The credit card was subsequently taken over by MBNA who upheld my claim but Santander say they have no records of my account before 2003. Good luck with your claim .£180.00 in 'sistercas'fund

If you have evidence that you asked to cancel and they refused you seem to have a valid complaint. However, you need to make your own complaint as each case is considered on its merits.0
