help on hob cleaning

Hi,

Need help on cleaning the hob. please find the image of the same enclosed. I know it is really bad, but not sure if this can be cleaned?

I ain't coming to tea at your house....


Clean what you can off using hot soapy water.


Then use a ceramic hob cleaner. One of the ones that dissolve the 10 years of grime you have there lol


don't be tempted to scrape it off

BTW you will never get that spotless / like new. I would replace..

All you can do is put some hob cleaner on it and wait for several hours/days until it softens enough for you to shift it. Make sure you open all the windows.

You need elbow grease. Loads of it.
First attack it with a blunt 2" stripping/filling knife to scrape off the really thick gunge.
Next use a stainless steel pan scourer and neat washing up liquid.
Then use the hob cleaner.

Oven Pride. it is meant for inside ovens and oven racks, but it cleans the glass in the door so should be ok on ceramic top. just paint it on, leave it overnight wash off.

For any stubborn bits just use a stanley knife blade.
