Hi all.
Advice needed please. As you can see from the title, we are currently being blighted by these creatures. My husband has tried the little balls which you push into the ground and the smell is meant to send them elsewhere but this has failed, miserably. I've googled and there are all sorts of ideas - some of which are frankly ridiculous! Just wanted to know if there was anyone out there who has a tried and tested method. Thanks in advance.

If you are concerned about moles you should speak to your GP.0

If you can get hold of creosote, soak a few rags in it and bury in the runs it's does not kill then it just sends them elsewhere..Jane x0

+1 on the creosote. Works for me.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I consider the best way to get rid of them is to put traps in the mole hills0

only thing that I found worked was the traps, either of the 2 types work ok
I got 4 traps 2 of each kind, they have to be put in the run from/to the hills, I used a metal spike to find the run
leave the trap in garden for a few days to get human smell off it, then put it into run
there is a knack to catching them, once you have the knack you will catch a lot, because I have not used them for sometime I've forget the knack0
