Kerri - knowing Hubert his lederhosen will have pink sparkly bits in. Igor, however, shrunk his lederhosen in the wash and the bad news is, the shorts are so short you can see his second best pair of undermentionables hanging down. Although at least you can't see his knees.......

  • Hello all - I've been awol for the last few months due to life taking over....will you have me back :o

Started a new job in London while still living in Scotland so the increased salary is completely swallowed up by travelling and living expenses - good fun but NSDs have become a distant memory which is not good

I've decided to get back on track so I'll lurk for the rest of September and jump back in next month :)

  • NSD #9 today. Seems like I need to be more creative with food when the cupboards nearly bare. 2 eggs fed the 3 of us tonight, as carbonara with a bit of bacon and pasta! Nearly at target :j

Reckon they would, my mum often reminds me that as children, they used to have one boiled egg between 4 of them  makes you think doesn't it, that was only in the 50's.

Ah but there was still rationing in the 50s Kerri so they wouldn't have had many eggs-unless they had their own chickens I suppose. My mum often talks about it

  • :hello: Hi all NSDers xxx

Welcome back MissE001-wow! Scotland to London- That's some commute:eek:

Oktoberfest sounds like fun :D...............are we going to use Halloween at all or does that bring out the worst in Igor?

So much has been going on in the thread :D Everyone seems to have been really busy, as well as ferreting away all those NSDs :T

Worriedpenguin- that sounds like my idea of heaven, cottage by the sea and loads of books; Enjoy :)

Gothrock- I hope the dentist was neither too painful or too expensive.

Lindor-I hope your daughter settles in okay; 300 miles round trip:eek: I worry doing ten:rotfl:

Big well done to all getting NSDs and loads of encouragement for the watchers. I have managed my number 14 today and am hoping for one tomorrow too- can't think of anything I need so should be okay but don't want to tempt fate. I've got to buy some train tickets for next month in the week but am going to do that on Friday after I've been paid- I want to do it on Friday rather than payday (Thursday) to sort of impress on myself that I don't HAVE to spend just as I've been paid (and to hopefully mean I don't fritter money just because I have it)

See you all tomorrow; keep it up :T

And thanks for keeping us all in order Marmite

    :hello:

  • NSD 11/14 yesterday. I'd planned on an evening in the village pub watching the football but the screens were off and I didn't want to be the tourist that goes into another person's local and starts being demanding. Ah well. Had an early night and bizarre dreams instead.
  • Now Igor, you may have got round head teacher marmite with your Travolta impression and thereby secured permission to organise a school prom at the end of the month, but that doesn't mean standards have to slip! There is to be no alcohol whatsoever at this shindig, everyone is to be dressed properly in proper evening attire, no pink sparkly tat, please, (that means you, Hubert) and let's show the world that Ennessdee Towers Comprehensive College Academy can put on a tasteful, refined ball. And that means keeping the sanitorium keys locked up in the head's safe, we do not want matron kerri swigging back the kaolin and morphine again, she'll start getting her pole out and all taste and refinement will fly out of the window........

The best bit of Igor's spirited SNF boogie-ing was when he attempted a Tom Jones style move, and split the seams of his trousers.:eek::eek: How we all laughed! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've lost track of this month - It's been a weird month where a lot of stuff has been going on and things to be sorted & started
(Such as getting a new laptop for "free", Starting to get some recruitment agency work, *some* overtime in my actual work & just going out with family.)

so I'm going to skip September and start my NSD tracking again in October.

I feel like I kinda of (insert bad F word here) this month but hey I can always try again next month.

Good luck to everyone else though!
    You're all doing so well!

Don't worry DeafLeopard,we'll save your chair and coffee cup for next month. :)

Does that mean i can wear one of my sparkly outfits this time please? It is a prom after all (although i'll have you know i rocked those navy blue cotton bloomers - I was going all Steampunk')

Errr, Nargle did you say Igor could decorate the hall for the prom? I'm not sure, but I don't think using poor Hubert as a live pinata is a particularly good idea - we're not trying to stage some Carrie reenactment you know, and goodness knows what effect all that spinning would have on Hubert's delicate constitution

Yes kerri,by all means make your outfit sparkly, but be careful. If you make it pink'n sparkly, you won't see it again....and Hubert will be getting the old 'Singer' out to make it fit a donkey.:eek:

    Good morning!! :hello:

I'm sorry that I've been AWOL for a few days...:naughty:

So,after struggling with Hubert in order to get my paws on his abacus,I have managed to add up all our grubby little nsds -they'd been thrown in the Cauldron of Doom just as Igor was ready to dish up the porridge for breakfast, and were a bit sticky  ...We have a super total of 321 nsds !!!

This gives us an average of 8.2 lovely nsds apiece! :j:j:j

    Smokin!!!!! :money:
