IVA completed June 2013,still not closed!
Hi,
I had debts of £27,000 & I completed payments on my IVA in June last year, but due to ongoing PPI claims this still hasn't been finalised, even though I signed an agreement to close my IVA and sort the PPI out separately after. That was back in January.
I'm growing increasingly fed up of Debt Free Direct fobbing me off, they've had over £36,000 (£21,000 paid by me & £15,000 PPI) of my funds sitting in their bank for 15 months now.
I just want it finalised and done now, anyone else had this problem concerning IVA & PPI claims combined or even Debt Free Direct?
Surely it doesn't take this long or it might be just me being impatient, don't know.

...You are not alone I suspect.
Saying that, you have been patient waiting over a Year. Time to start 'pestering' DFD, and ultimately threaten to go down the formal complaints process if they do not conclude your case promptly.0 -
DFD have a lot of cross customers about PPI delays. I agree with UPMNII - send them an email saying you want your compeltion certificate within a month. If it doesn't arrive, put in a formal complaint.0

Yes, fourteen (nearly fifteen) months is ridiculous, chase them and don't stop hassling them till they sort it. You stuck to your part of the deal by making the payments, they should send you your completion certificate. One life - your life - live it!0

I have emailed them tonight, hopefully they'll get back to me soon. Beginning to wish I hadn't put in for the PPI as my IVA was only 3 months from finishing when I got confirmation that I'd be getting compensation, its not like I would have seen any of the money....anyway thanks for the responses
