How long for nationwide mortgage to go through?

Westyggx - is yours with Nationwide as well? What was the reason they needed to do 3 surveys? Mine is a new build (hoping this makes it easier).

Wondering this to, i have my valuation being done tomorrow im hoping thus means good news

Our full application went in 07/08, valuation done yesterday and got the text confirmation of mortgage offer issued same day (not yet received).

The vendor's solicitors have a preferred completion date of about 6 weeks so hoping it should all be fine.

Mine is with nationwide yes. The reason was that the valuation came back as having movement and rising damp so he suggested we get specilaist reports for Cavity Wall ties, Damp and timber and structure engineer. We did so and no issues came back. If its a new build it should be much quicker, mine was a 1900 terraced.

29/08 - Valuation booked for our mortgage application
01/09 - text from NW formal mortgage offer issued
02/09 - text from NW revised formal mortgage offer issued

Was hoping the written offer would be in today but no luck. hopefully tomorrow.

I got my mortgage through in 2 weeks. Took a few more days for paperwork to come through but we didn't it in time.
