Paris Hypermarket I expect, as I can't imagine Beauvais having much selection as it's 60 miles out of Paris in the middle of nowhere.

Unless you are flying outside the EU you won't get duty free at Beauvais

I have always found that airport shops are more expensive than most shops in the country you are in.

I find it varies - World of Whiskies, for example, is often cheaper than supermarket prices. e.g. Ardbeg 10YO is £40 for 0.7l (£57/litre) in the shops, but £52/litre at WoW (and last year dropped as low as £42/litre).
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

    It varies by country.

Technically there is no true duty free within the EU/EEA however many countries will sell some or all items "at duty free prices" to all travelers

LHR sell most under 1L bottles of spirits to everyone at the same prices, tobacco is only to those outside of the EU unless you want to pay tax, almost everything else is the same price for all.

Flying out of Greece this week all items, including tobacco, were the same price for everyone and they even had signs up saying how many thousand cigarette "sticks" you could bring back into the UK.
