What report did you check? Usually when a mortgage company refuses you, they are not obliged to tell you why. Data protection and all that.
I am sure any sensible underwriter would let that go given an explanation.0 -
Data protection only applies to protecting data from someone else, not the person it's about. Legally, they have to tell you why your application was denied, although they can be as vague as saying "credit score" if they like.What report did you check? I am sure any sensible underwriter would let that go given an explanation.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
