Glasgow 2014 tshirt- terrible!

Hi all,
I bought a netball tshirt from Glasgow 2014 (had a fantastic time, by the way). One wash, and it has totally faded. It had bright blue piping, now it's a dull purple. As I don't have the receipt anymore (I know, but I paid cash and didn't think I'd need it) the company has told me they can't refund, even though the tshirts were only sold at the venue.
I think this is shoddy merchandise and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's followed the washing instructions, only to be very disappointed! Does anyone have any advice for this problem, or have any others had the same issues?
