wow, that difference in exchange rates is really going to hit you on 100 euros.
It could be as much as £3.00 if you do it wrong.
Have you looked just above your post ? In quite large font it says "Travel Money Maximiser. Find cheapest online holiday cash".0 -
There is no exchange rate from $ to €, only £ to € so to save being charged the conversion from $ to £ first and then using the £ to buy €, you're better of changing the $ when you're in the Euro country that you're visiting.0

im looking to purchase euros0 -
For €100 it really isn't worth spending the time and effort going to lots of different places. Just go to whichever Post Office, high street shop or supermarket is the most convenient. There will only be a couple of quid in it.
Here are the latest prices for €100

If you're in London Thomas Exchange is the best I've found. They have a few branches and current euro rate is €1.2385 which beats the rate on the link above. Only useful if you work near a branch though.0

Order online to collect at Thomas cook 1.2214 today other than the above its about the best rate you'll get on the high street for a small amount like that.0

i just pop into asda you should get approx 120 Euro's for £100... it's not worth the fuel to hunt around for a better rate.. or pop in tesco and ask what is the best rate they can offer... i have done it0
