back with parents Tax credits?

About two months ago I split up with my partner and have since been sleeping on friends sofas and staying with family members when available..
before we split up my partner and I had a joint working/child tax claim together but obviously as soon as my partner notified them that we were no longer together my money stopped and her claim was adjusted.
My parents have now told me that I can move back in with them for a while until I get myself sorted and build my business back up..
I do meet the criteria to claim working tax but my concern is will it affect my parents benefits..
Both my parents are on basic pension and recieve housing benefit..
So my question is if I do move back in with my parents and claim working tax credits will it effect their pension and/or housing benefit?
Thank you for your anticipated replies

Have a look at your local council's site re "non-dependant deductions" Their housing benefit could be reduced based on your income unless they fall within the exemptions
example http://www.manchester.gov.uk/info/500180/housing_benefit/4285/adults_non-dependants_who_live_with_you_may_affect_your_housing_benefit_and_council_tax_support
Figures I believe are the same for all councils0 -

Your claim for working tax credits will not affect your parents benefit.
However, if they are receiving HB and/or Council Tax reduction there will be a non dependant deduction because you are living with them. This is made in the expectation that you give them some money towards your 'keep' and is made regardless of whether you do so!
Your parents will have to tell the council of the change of circumstances. The deduction will be made according to how much you earn (on a sliding scale)
If your parents receive DLA/PIP/AA then no deductions will be made.
The HB non dependant deductions are nationally set but the CT ones vary from council. You need to goggle their local council plus HB and non dependant deductions to find out the amounts.
An example:

Sorry, forgot to add.
If your mum or dad is over 65 then the non dependant deductions will not be made for 26 weeks.
What if I am over 65?
If you or your partner are over 65 and a non dependant moves in with you, we will not make deductions for the first 26 weeks. However you must still tell us that they have moved in.
If you already have a non dependant living with you and their income increases we will not increase the deduction for 26 weeks. The new deductions will be based on the non dependant's income at the end of the 26 weeks period.0 -
Thanks for the advice guide... your mentioning "non dependant deductions" helped me find what I was looking for from birmingham councils website and hmrc
It works out that they would lose £14.15 from housing benefit and £3.70 from council tax benefit so as long as my working tax credit would cover that we should be ok
again
Thanks very much for your help0 -

It's from here:
http://www.hackney.gov.uk/f-non-dependant-deductions.htm#.U_ISLvldXKE
Can't find it on your council's website so you will have to ask about it.0
