Group Hotel in Iceland.

Me again folks.

Sorry to be a pain, I am currently looking at booking a group holiday to Iceland next Feb for a work trip.

I have sourced flights but need ideas for a decent and reasonably priced hotel in central Rekyajvik. Preferably I am looking for B&B....

Any ideas on how to go about this would be brilliant. I have tried contacting all the groups agents but they are coming up with £700 per person, which no-one will go for when you can book offers for £200 per person at the moment.

Thanks Cher x

What standard do you mean by "decent"? Are we talking Premier Inn, Hilton or 5-star? How many nights are you looking for?
  • We went in February this year and stayed at Hotel Fron. It's right in the middle of the main shopping street, so perfect location. We paid approx. £45 per double room per night B&B. it was perfect for us and I would definately recommend it.

By decent I mean 3 or 4* plus and 3 night. Interesting you say Hotel Fron i looked at that and was told it was a long way out by the groups booking agent and to look closer to town. I may go back to that one if people think it is in the perfect location. Thanks for your help :-)

We stayed at Hotel Fron in February this year too. I liked it and thought it was a good location. £52 per night for a studio apartment with breakfast.
