Fuel Prices in Belfast

Tesco at Craigavon is £126.9 so I believe it'll be the same in all Tesco stores. Would I be right? The thing is, we have a Tesco card and we do a lot of shopping there. I get fuel discounts for that so sometimes my price per litre is as low as £1.06.9. I looked around at other supermarket schemes but I can't find any that are as good as Tesco. I feel really stupid to have previously ignored supermarket loyalty cards thinking they were some sort of scam.
Can anyone confirm if this is true for Tesco stations outside of Craigavon? If it is then Tesco is the way forward.0 -

Unfortunately it's not - Tesco prices vary by location, unlike Asda.
Also, petrolprices.net has a phone app that you can use whilst on the go - it can occasionally be a day or so out of date, but it's normally pretty accurate.0 -

Thanks DA, I was afraid this maybe the case as I currently tend to just use Asda pumps.
I believe Santander allow either 1% or 3% back on fuel purchases with their account which is the only other help I can find although the account costs £2 per month to run so you need to get your money's worth. Perhaps this coupled with an Asda or Tesco loyalty card will help?0 -

No they don't. It's through the 123 credit card not the current account. It's 3% for petrol up to £300 a month. It's done on merchant category codes, so you'll not get 1% just because it's supermarket fuel.0 -

The only bad thing is, you would need to spend £500 in tesco to get the 20p per litre off. Maybe not the cheapest place, depending on your shopping habits. I certainly wouldn't use a super market just to save £12 after spending £500.0 -
From Tesco
From today until Sunday we have an exclusive offer for our Clubcard customers in Northern Ireland. We are doubling the number of fuel savings you will earn when you shop in-store or at tesco.com/groceries (deliveries must be made by Sunday). For every £50 you spend you'll earn 4p off a litre instead of the usual 2p.
This is a limited time offer starting today and ends at midnight on Sunday 28th September.0 -
What I find with Tesco is that you get discount points on your card as well as the fuel discount. Let's face it. Everybody spends £500 for shopping eventually. When you pay like we do £100+ per week it's not hard to do that in a month. So really you're left with a choice. Just shop, pay your money and forget about it, or join the loyalty scheme, take your petrol discounts and your three monthly £15 worth of vouchers. So in a year you get about £120 worth of discounts on fuel and shopping. It's not much but I kind of like the feeling knowing I'm getting something off.0
