Santander online banking - unusable?

For months, I have had a problem with Santander online banking - I enter customer number, security creds and then just get cycled back to the login page. It's not a security credential failure (wrong PIN etc), it just acts like it has logged me out.
Occasionally, I will get in, and might be able to navigate for one or two clicks until I again get the login page.
Today, I have spent 40 minutes trying to set up a standing order, I'm at my wits end!
I've tried various browsers (chrome, Firefox, IE) with no luck.
Is this a common problem? Any top tips to save my sanity?

Never have those issues myself with Satander.
If it's happening on ALL browsers then the next place I would look is any firewalls / Anti-Virus (these ofter have web-protection processes built in to them), or indeed nay other software you may have installed that could be affecting the Satander website.
Try temporarily disabling them to discover if that's the issue (remember to switch them back on afterwards).0 -
OP: Do you always use the same device? Perhaps you could try logging on from a different machine and see what happens.
P.S. Never had this problem myself from PC or iPad App.Are you for real? - Glass Half Empty??

as above never had this problem with any banking site.
things to try :- clear your cache and history and cookies on your pc, next i would reboot pc and then navigate to santander (do not use any links you have saved as a bookmark ) start fresh. then try and login again.
are you able to login using the mobile app?
have you tried "Firefox" browser?
i would also if you have not already download the free version of malwarebytes and run that, i use the paid version you'll be amazed at what it finds

hope this has helped0 -
this rings a bell, had almost identical thread a few weeks back. Do a forum search with pertinent keywords to find it and see what the resolution was (if any). The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
