Xbox And Rear Projection Tv

Hi
I have a 42" rear projection tv someone told me if i play my xbox on it it could damage it is this true?

    Not heard that to be honest but I think you'll find it'll be a waste of time trying to view your xbox via a rear projection tv as rear projection tv's can't process the info quick enough therefore it screws the picture.
