Limited Company Director Query

Evening all,
In terms of benefits, such as the Local Allowance Housing Benefit and Tax Credits - i'm wondering how it works for company directors of LTD companies being paid under PAYE.
Say the director is paid £200 p/w under PAYE, thus has pay slips etc. Do they then have to produce anything further to proof they are not for example making a £1k p/w profit.

We would take Directors remunerations as income.
However we would also examine the company accounts and ask for P35. Just in case the Director was paying themselves dividends or hiding income as repayment of loans etc
Audited company accounts and filing of P35 are a legal requirement.
If we thought a Director was hiding income we get our Fraud Department to liaise with HMRC to carry out a full audit
These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
