My Henry Hoover stinks!?

Had our Henry for about 2 years and the bag has been changed a couple of times since but it stinks like feet or something horrid along those lines.

Is this normal? Does anyone else's Henry or Hoover smell?

Other than that it's a great Hoover and still works... Just need a gas mask on

  • Think you might need to change your filter.

Ours stinks as well especially after we used it for cleaning at one of our rental propertys when tennants had left it in a state.

I have just ordered a new filter from amazon and awaiting delivery.

Reasonably priced. Reviews say it is not as good quality as originals but for the price I am going to give it a go.

Thank you! Will definitely order one and see if this helps. It's driving me insane right now and can't afford to fork out more cash for a new one. Cheers!

You can wash the filter, I have washed mine in the sink a few times.

You might need to change the bag more frequently too, even if it's not full. I've used vacuum fresheners in the past too.

As above wash the filter. Bicarbonate of soda in the bag can help.

Get some shake n' vac. Go round the house a few times and it'll make Henry lovely again!

Probably should give the filter a clean too though.
