Im so confused IS/ESA/NEA

Hello,

Am hoping someone can help me as im so confused.

I have been on income support for a while and my child has now turned 5 so it ends (today actually) I have MS and get high rate DLA for both parts, and my job centre advisor has told me to contact to go onto ESA - in th middle of a relapse so have a sick note from dr until the end of september.

My question is i worked out a nice business i can run from home, when i told the job center they put me forward for the new enterprise allowance scheme and again after a call have been accepted on the course.

This is where i get confused the new enterprise scemem guves me £63 a week for first 13 weeks then £32 a week for next 13 weeks (job center says this affects nothing i get in regards to HB etc) and then she said if you work 16 hours a week from home youd get working tax credits.

But i did thr calculation and its coming up id be £83 a week worse off so my question is do i still claim esa which im doing the NEA? and after that is it just WTC i will get as i cant see this erning a profit in its first year or do i still get child tax credits aswell? im assuming i wont get ESA anymore.

im so confused and even though i searched and searched i can not find the answer so if anyone can help id be so grateful thank you

You may be better off on ESA, which is £72.40 per week plus £15.55 per week (so, £87.95) during the assessment phase. You can do some permitted work too.
