I had disposable cameras from Confetti.co.uk for our reception. They were rubbish, grainy images and the flash didn't work on long enough distances. From 10 cameras we didn't get one picture worth keeping.

can anyone recommend where they got their cameras from? I was going to get some from confetti.co.uk, but after the above post, im not sure where to get them from...its not really going to be worth it if they are horrible quality!
    ** i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay **

    Hi People
I have found 2 website that have very reasonably priced disposable's with good brand name film in them, agfa or kodak. Anyway try these... www.spark-blazer.com or www.anywords.com ( might be .co.uk forgive me if I've put the wrong one) Theres start at about £1.99 and you can add on cheap processing if you wish, Oh and they have loads of different colours.
Best of luck and I'm worrying slightly as I brought some from confetti.co.uk too!EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!
Before judging someone walk a mile in their shoes, then if you still don't like them your a mile away and they have no shoes!:p :money:
  • I have read on another forum, a bridal one that confetti haven't been great at getting the cameras out to people. Just something to bear in mind.

We got our disposable from boots and the images were fantastic, the only reason we gave them out was that you get pictures taken in the weirdest of places and because you have given them for free people are not so careful which in our case turned out to be well worth it!!

However, I do agree with an earler post if people have digital they can take their own and then put them onto discs and send them to you!

Sometimes though the disposable can be more fun!!

I've ordered some odds and ends from confetti a few weeks back and it states delivery in 4-5 working days. After 2 weeks one of the items came but the rest are to follow. HAve emailed them twice but they never reply to emails. Lucky I'm not in a huge rush. Never used them before, and I doubt I will again to be honest
    ;)
  • I heard someone say that what they did was take a laptop to the wedding with a multi-memory card reader. Then they got all the guests to transfer their images onto the laptop so they have them there and then. Another one I heard was for someone to then link the laptop to a projector and project the images onto a wall at the reception

    reply I just got:

I’m afraid the item you have been awaiting has been lost in transit and now has been discontinued you were to receive the last one. I am now going to send you a lost in transit letter which if you can send straight back or fax which will speed up the process. We will refund you the full amount including postage and packaging. I no we should of contacted you regarding this but as we have just moved premises we have been extremely busy.
    Sorry for any inconvenience

I replied saying it was not on etc....however just got home now and saw I had missed call, just phoned the number back and lady answered " Hello studio cards can I take your account number"...after much confussion, seems that confetti is the same company....that would explain the customer service!!

my thoughts too - part of why it infuriated me!! anyway they've appologised and offered alternatives to the items I was waiting for, but only after I wrote a horrible email back to them!!!
