Does anyone know the cheapest place for table cameras, seen some on ebay.
But dont know the quality.

Hi, there was some discussion about this on another wedding forum and the basic consensus is that disposable cameras weren't really worth it due to the cost and the quality of the shots you get. Seeing as most people have digital cameras these days, it's much easier just to give your guests a blank disc and request that they send you the good shots.

Don't know if this is across the country but in my local Boots (york) they have packs of 8 reduced at £7.50, you'll have to pay for processing but they also come with a coupon for 100 advantage points when you get them done. I got a pack for the kids over summer, only had one processed but the quality is fine. Just a thought!

the disposable cameras at my daughters wedding were some of the best pictures we had of the reception we also put some cameras out on the night reception as well i know they do cameras in poundland but sorry dont know the quailty suppose you could try one out first

Some cheap disposable cameras are cheap for a reason, ie rubbish film and re-used cameras. Personally I think you should steer clear of these. Stick with a reputable brand such as Kodak, Fuji, Boots. If I remember Kodak use an 800 ASA film which can be quite grainy!

I got the ones for my wedding from Max Spielman as they include the processing. They usually have some sort of offer on. Got quite a few crappy photos but a few gems in there too so was worth it.

I did try and ask everyone with digital cameras to e-mail/put on disk their best photos but you know what its like, people forget/never get round to it etc etc

Diaposable camera on each table in the night is an excellent idea.. seen it at my mates wedding and works really well as you got some funny pictures. I guess it also depends on if you can take a joke coz some drunks do mess about with them as mymate found out...it wasnt me...honestly! hehe

I am thinking of this idea too so that i can have pics of the guests as well as us. Ive seen cameras in klick which give you the development free. the cameras are £5 each but im getting some discount because a friend works there

they come in silver or pink in the one where i live but they may do different colours

I've been to lots of weddings with disposable cameras & the overall opinion seems to be they've been a waste of money once the initial cost & charges for developing has been taken into account.

Half the people don't seem to be able to get the flashes working properly - either that or after a few drinks they've forgotten how to do it. Plus at one friends, the kids took all the cameras & so lots of heads, feet & not much more.

I'd agree with the earlier post that digital cameras & copies from friends seems to be the way to go!

hello. i got mind from ethel austin yesterday. £3.00 each and after you have bought 4 you get 1 half price. they have flashes as well and envelopes for posting. hope this helps
