PPT from UKCPS

Hi, last night I received a windscreen parking ticket from UKCPS for parking outside a marked bay. I was parking at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield when using Cineworld. Anyone who knows this place knows how difficult it is to park here at busy times. I was there for 7.30pm-ish and got the ticket at 8.05pm. After driving around the car park for 10mins I ended up parking in a white lined area at the end of a row. The area was quite big and I had a small car so decided to park in it. Where I parked would have caused no disruption to other users as I created no blockage or blindspot. I think the area used to be a parking bay but now they marked it with white lines.
I've written to Cineworld but reading on their website they do mention that any Car parking fines should be referred to the car park owner who is Valley Centertainment. They themselves refer you to UKCPS.
I've read other threads but just need to clarify if I should wait for the NTK letter from UKCPS before I appeal or should I send a soft appeal now? The fine is £60 and goes up to £100 if I don't pay within 14 days. It does mention that I have 28 days to appeal.
Any help will be appreciated.

Await NtK; don't be seduced by the 'discount'. You can beat this by following the NEWBIES sticky at the top of the forum index. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

You haven't been fined, this is an invoice for an alleged breach of contract. Providing you are the registered keeper of the vehicle wait for the NtK and then appeal using the wording in the sticky thread by coupon madWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. Wait for the NTK and search this forum for 'UKPCS Centertainment' to find loads of other threads like this, some with POPPLA appeals already written. But don't read old threads that are not from 2014.
When you get the NTK you then send the template form the Newbies thread (top of this forum).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Great news. My PCN has been cancelled after I contacted the Landowner who has agreed to cancel it as a gesture of goodwill.0

Well done! Ask them if they will remove the gluttonous parking scammers from their land as a gesture of goodwill to customers being harassed by this venomous parking company. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you.
