Reclaiming PPI - Complex case

Hi,

Hope this is in the right place. In previous years I relied heavily on credit cards, loans etc to meet my basic living expenses, I have had 2 mortgages, 3 credit cards and banked with the majority of banks at some point, along with catalogue accounts and so on from 2001 to 2011 I have unsecured personal debt of circa £40,000 without CCJ's etc. Some of the accounts mentioned above are settled and closed down (mortgage accounts) some have been sold onto debt agencies others are laying dormant. I have no paperwork what so ever and have moved around a lot in that time. I have reclaimed bank charges in the past and would like to look at PPI, but I do not know where to start, I have read the thread but not sure I fully fall into that description. I fully recognise and accept some cash will go direct to the lenders to chip away at some of the debt which I am perfectly happy with as it's all off the outstanding balance... Any advice would be gratefully received...
