Outlook problems - help !!

I have suffered for too long!

How can I resolve the following two errors which occur each time I open Outlook:

The add in "C:\progra~1\mcafee.com\vso\vsolpg.dll" could not be installed or loaded.

AND

The add in "C:\ProgramFiles\Google\GoogleDesktopSearch\GoogleDesktopO..." could not be installed or loaded.

They are an inconvenience more than anything.

I currently run Google toolbar, and AVG Free for antivirus on an XP laptop.


Any help gratefully received...

is this express or proper outlook?

First try 'detect repair problems' under help

i would look to see if you have mcafee antivirus installed under add remove programs.

maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling google toolbar thing aswell

then if you go tools|options|other and then advaced button there is an addin button is can you deselect from them there?

Nice one koksrob - spot on. It was a setting in addin manager.

It's turning into a better Tuesday all the time.
